For this project, we were tasked with creating a story with text and integrating the text with simple images. We were allowed to use two colors only. I created a children's book based on my corgi Myron. This was a successful project for me because I was able to use bold colors and simplistic design thoroughly communicated my story and my intended design aesthetic.
This is the front and back cover for my story book. I chose burnt orange as one of my colors because it is the color most attributed to the breed of the corgi. I wanted the corgi design itself to be simplified and using the a knockout for the dog allowed me to successfully do this.
This is the inside of my story book. I used simple imagery to emphasize the story and intelligent use of colors.
