For this project, we were prompted to emulate a famous photographer's work, to learn lighting and style techniques. I chose to emulate Steve McCurry, who is worldly known for his documentary and vibrantly colored pieces. The photograph, shown at bottom, entitled "Woman in Costume for Perugia Medieval Summer Festival" was what I chose to emulate because most of his work is down in raw situations, except this one appeared to be more fashionable and portraiture. Shown below, is my own work and emulation piece.
