6th May 1976, Italy, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Gemona:
an earthquake distroyed the entire zone. The whole Dome, built in 1300, collapsed.
Citizens start rebuilding the dome themselves, stones by stones, just because they need to have their places, and in 15 years they finished to reconstruct the entire village.
They decided to keep the crucifix damaged as it was, to keep in mind that you can always get up again, even if you have suffered, and you were injured.
