Kufa is a city in Iraq. Centuries ago, in 680 AD, it's people asked Imam Hussain (a) to come and help them against the tyrant yazeed and his oppression but Kufis afterwards betrayed him which resulted in the Imam and his 72 other companions' merciless martyrdom in Karbala.

First of all, im dedicating this little piece of art to my late cousin brother, Syed Jauhar Hasnain. May Allah bless him with the company of the Ahlulbayt (a) of the Holy Prophet (s). Ameen.

Farsh se wasee aur arsh se buland zaat’e miohtaram Abalfazl al-Abbas (a) k darbar mein meri taraf se khaak k aik zarrey k barabar nazrana. Yeh woh hastee hain k jinka naam aatey hi Imam Zain ul-Abideen (a) apni nashist se buland hojatey thay aur inki zaat’e mutahar pe salaam bhejtey thay.

Medaan'e Khebar mein yeh Alam Dast'e Rasool Allah (s) se Dast'e Sheir'e Khuda (a) mein aya. Unho ney yeh apney betey Abalfazl Abbas (a) ko sonpa aur ab is hi Alam ki Shabeeh un Hazrat k laakhon paruwon k haathon mein hai aur roz'e mehshar tak rahega.

Abbas'e naamwar k lahu se dhula hua

Ab bhi Hussainiat ka Alam hai khula hua
