NASA is on a journey to Mars
The goal is to send humans to the Red Planet in the 2030s. Many people are working on that already, so that we can become a multi–planetary species.

For many years now, NASA and many partners have been sending rovers, landers and orbiters to analyze and learn as much as we could from our neighbor, in order to set a path for humans to colonize the planet in a near future.

Concept
Nomads and pioneers.

Humanity has spent centuries telling stories. Stories about how man moves, travels, moves from one place to another. Man, who by custom is usually a nomadic species, unable to stay in one place, and continues moving to the next. A species, innovative and pioneer. That hunger to discover and travel has inspired us from an early age, to look at the sky and wonder what is beyond those stars that shine in the darkness of our nights. First, we discovered the Solar System, then the Milky Way, the galaxies, the expanding universe ... And much more.
Now, the time has come to look at our closest neighbor, and just as we did with the Moon, it's time to ask ourselves how to get there. How to get back to a new destination. It's time to travel again, and be pioneers again.

A modular shop

Ever since we said we're a nomadic species, and we keep moving, our logo and shop does so. Every Pion store is meant to travel around the Mars colony in order to make the user's experience easy and way more comfortable. You don't longer go to the store, but the store comes to you.

Ever since we where inspired by the iconic photo from the first astronaut on the Moon, the design of the store's building is also inspired on the metal types used for typesetting back in those days. We thought it would be a cool idea to bring back this moment in Mars in this particular way!
