Few books captured my imagination like Richard Adams' Watership Down. It was doubly magical for me as it is a fantasy story that is also set within a few miles of my childhood home. This is my tribute to Adams' first and best known novel.

I began by sketching out ideas in my notebook, and then designed the text in Illustrator. The linework was created both with pen on paper and with Kyle's ink brushes in Photoshop.

The tag line is a quote from Lord Frith, the Lapine creator diety, from the beginning of the book, and is also quoted in the film.

I hope fellow fans of the novel will appreciate my approach for this poster. I welcome any feedback!
