Concepção e Abordagem

O filme tenda da lua tem como proposta ser um curta documental, que aborda com uma linguagem poética o ciclo menstrual.De forma subjetiva e valorizando o que as mulheres sentem em cada fase do ciclo, será como as antigas tendas da lua, onde as mulheres eram afastadas das suas tribos e ficavam juntas em tendas no seu período menstrual, discutindo sobre o que sentiam, como reagiam e sua relação intima com seus próprios ciclos. O filme, que terá a duração de cinco minutos, usará da técnica de colagem de imagens das 3 personagens, mescladas com imagens que evocam o feminino, a ancestralidade e a sacralidade do sangue menstrual, assim como foi feita a montagem do curta documental Caramujo Flor.

Escolha e descrição dos objetos

Os objetos principais de estudo do filme serão três mulheres em diferentes fases da vida, que de forma sutil, pelos seus diferentes estilo de vida, estarão associadas aos 3 principais arquétipos femininos da jovem, da mãe e da anciã.

FABIOLA –Ekedi de um Ilê Axé, filha da orixá Nanã, espírito jovial e intrépida.

MITYSUIANA– Professora de Dança e guia espiritual, cuidadora nata.

FRANCISCA – Dona de casa, tem um retiro espiritual.

Escolha e justificativa para as estratégias de abordagem

Com uma abordagem mais orgânica, como um circulo de conversa as entrevistas terão perguntas amplas, para obter uma resposta mais longa e orgânica de cada personagem, direcionando para saber como elas se sentem em cada fase do ciclo lunar, a relação delas com as fases da lua, a aceitação e a normatização do seu sangue menstrual e como elas compreendem seu próprio ciclo interno. A relação delas com a câmera será abordada de forma subjetiva e amigável, como se a câmera não estivesse presente. Terá colagens com imagens abstratas e os áudios OFF das personagens sobrepostos. As imagens de transição serão todas em ambiente externo, aberto, e com muita natureza, assim como o ambiente das entrevistas. Serão diferentes lugares para cada uma, porém terá um vinculo afetivo com elas. Será abordado dessa forma para criar um links com o natural e com o ancestral de cada uma em sua individualidade e ainda assim termos a compreensão de unidade. A linha de tempo da narrativa tem a proposta de seguir as fases da lua, como no ciclo menstrual, e isto também direcionará as perguntas, uma vez que o ciclo menstrual é de 28 dias, assim como o ciclo lunar.

Sugestão de estrutura

O filme abordará as fases da Lua e as fases das mudanças do ciclo interno de cada mulher dentro do ciclo menstrual, como elas se sentem, como elas percebem o próprio corpo enquanto este se prepara para a fecundação e quando esta não ocorre, para a menstruação durante seu dia-a-dia, com os afazeres que a atual sociedade impõe. Com uma linguagem poética e subjetiva, o filme vem tentar mostrar a menstruação de forma, natural, inerente, para que as mulheres se reconectem com a força feminina ancestral ligada à menstruação.

O curta documental terá cinco minutos, três personagens, três locações para entrevistas, imagens da natureza e que evoquem o sagrado feminino. A linha histórico narrativa do filme será guiada pelas fases da lua, portanto será dividida em 4 blocos, que suas transições serão feitas de acordo com a descrição das personagens sobre seus ciclos menstruais.

O primeiro bloco será da Lua crescente, nesta fase do filme, será abordado o período pré-ovulatório, é o período onde o corpo se prepara para o novo ciclo, com muita energia e renovado. Fase associada à primavera.

O segundo bloco será da Lua cheia, nesta fase será abordada a ovulação, período onde o corpo feminino sente completo, pleno, normalmente, há uma natureza mais expansiva e uma auto estima elevada na mulher. Fase associada ao verão.

O terceiro bloco será da Lua Minguante, nesta fase será abordado o período pré menstrual, período onde começa o processo do desapego do corpo e do espírito, onde o corpo se abriu para a gestação, mas essa não ocorreu. Normalmente a mulher está mais sensível e introspectiva. Fase associada ao outono.

O quarto Bloco será da lua nova, nesta fase será abordada a menstruação de fato, período onde o corpo expele em sangue tudo o que não lhe é mais necessário, momento de introspecção e de estar dentro da tenda inteiramente voltada para si. Fase associada ao inverno.

Conception and Approach

The movie tent of the moon has as a proposal to be a short documentary, which approaches with a poetic language the menstrual cycle. Subjectively and valuing what women feel in each phase of the cycle, will be like the old tents of the moon, where women were removed from their tribes and tied together in their menstrual period, discussing what they felt, how they reacted, and their intimate relationship with their own cycles. The film, which will last five minutes, will use the technique of collage images of the three characters, mixed with images that evoke the feminine, the ancestry and sacredness of the menstrual blood, as well as the editing of the short documentary Caramujo Flor .

Choice and description of objects

               The main objects of study of the film will be three women in different phases of life, who in a subtle way, by their different lifestyle, will be associated with the three main feminine archetypes of the young woman, the mother and the old woman.

FABIOLA – Ekedi (a person who takes care) of an Ilê Axé, daughter of the Nana Orixá, a jovial and intrepid spirit.

MITYSUIANA- Dance teacher and spiritual guide, caretaker.

FRANCISCA - Housewife, owner of a spiritual retreat house.

Choice and justification for the approach strategies

               With a more organic approach, as a conversation circle the interviews will have broad questions, to get a longer and more organic response of each character, directing to how they feel in each phase of the lunar cycle, their relation with the phases of the moon, the acceptance and normalization of their menstrual blood and how they understand their own inner cycle. Their relationship with the camera will be approached in a subjective and friendly manner, as if the camera were not present. There will be collages with abstract images and the OFF audios of overlapping characters. The transition images will all be in an external, open, and very natural environment, as well as the interview environment. They will be different places for each one, but will have an affective bond with them. It will be approached in this way to create a link with the natural and the ancestor of each in its individuality and yet we have the understanding of unity. The timeline of the narrative has the proposition of following the phases of the moon, as in the menstrual cycle, and this will also direct the questions, since the menstrual cycle is 28 days, as well as the lunar cycle

Structure suggestion

The film will cover the phases of the Moon and the phases of each woman's internal cycle changes within the menstrual cycle, how they feel, how they perceive their own body as it prepares for fertilization and when it does not occur, for menstruation during his day-to-day, with the tasks that the present society imposes. With a poetic and subjective language, the film tries to show the menstruation in a natural, inherent form so that the women reconnect with the feminine ancestral force connected to the menstruation.

               The short documentary will have five minutes, three characters, three locations for interviews, images of nature and that evoke the sacred feminine. The narrative story line of the film will be guided by the phases of the moon, so it will be divided into 4 blocks, which will be transcribed according to the characters' description of their menstrual cycles.

               The first block will be from the crescent Moon, in this phase of the film, will be approached the pre-ovulatory period, is the period where the body prepares for the new cycle, with much energy and renewed. Phase associated with spring.

               The second block will be from the full moon, at this stage will be approached ovulation, period where the female body feels full, normally there is a more expansive nature and a high self esteem in the woman. Phase associated with summer.

               The third block will be from the Waning Moon, at this stage the pre menstrual period will be discussed, a period where the process of detachment from the body and spirit begins, where the body opened for gestation, but this did not occur. Usually the woman is more sensitive and introspective. Phase associated with autumn.

               The fourth block will be of the new moon, in this phase will be approached the menstruation of fact, period in which the body expels in blood everything that is not necessary to him, moment of introspection and of being inside the tent entirely facing itself.
