Concept
Affermare qualcosa per poi negarla l’istante successivo. Tesi e antitesi che coesistono in un unico ambiente. Questi i concetti alla base dell’ allestimento.
L’ambiente si presenta scarno e asettico, l’attenzione è quindi focalizzata sui pochissimi elementi presenti nella stanza. Nella prima saremo messi di fronte al primo imperativo, “VIVI”, un’imperativo univoco che non lascia spazio a ripensamenti. Di fronte a noi un cappio, elemento a suo volta univoco, a cui gli si può attribuire un solo ed unico utilizzo. Ci troviamo di fonte ad un paradosso, all’impossibilità di procedere. Medesimo discorso vale per la seconda stanza, strutturalmente uguale alla prima. Avremo il primo imperativo rappresentato da una semplice freccia e il secondo tradotto in righe di filo spinato. Al contrario della prima l’imperativo del filo spinato è un qualcosa di fisico, il quale non ti permette fisicamente di procedere oltre. Dando in questo modo due visioni di imcompiutezza, una puramente simbolica del cappio e una invece più fisica del filo spinato.
Come ci si comporta di fronte all’incompiutezza? Che senso ha dare due comandi che si annullano l’un l’altro?

The environment is thin and aseptic, the focus is therefore focused on the very few elements in the room. In the first we will be faced with the first imperative, "VIVI", an univocal imperative that leaves no room for second thoughts. In front of us, a noose, an element which in its turn is unequivocal, to which it can be attributed a single and unique use. We find ourselves at the source of a paradox, the impossibility of proceeding. The same applies to the second room, structurally equal to the first. We will have the first imperative represented by a simple arrow and the second translated into rows of barbed wire. Unlike the first, the barbed wire imperative is something physical, which does not physically allow you to go further. Giving in this way two visions of imcompiuzza, a purely symbolic of the noose and a rather more physical of the barbed wire.
