Second year university group project
For this project we first had to choose form a selection of topics the one that we decided to focus on was 'sex'. The project was to create a publication that puts forward an argument for and an argument against within your chosen topic. For this we began by Looking in to the media and advertising and the way it portrays women, using them in a negative way in order to try and sell products and services for the against argument. On the other hand for the for argument we looked at how women should be allowed to express themselves using their bodies.
Each group member made a selection of posters each focusing on different arguments for and against which we then put all together as a magazine to create our final publication. To go with the magazine we created a range of items like stickers, t-shirts posters e.c.t that will all go with the magazine all together in a paper bag creating a gift bag that promotes the message behind our project.
