Prototype for Business Grant Portal Help Page
Business Grant Portal is a website created by GovTech for online business grant application.
Phase 1 - Content Layout
Before I started to design the content layout, I research other "Help Pages" and looked at the feedback of the current design. I created 7 prototype for the content layout.
Phase 2 - Ways to Display Content
After deciding on the content layout, variations on the different ways to display content were created.
Phase 3 - Diagrams
We decide to test if diagrams helps the user understand Unfortunately, the results was that the diagrams was too vague. Based on feedback, we decided to test with icons instead.
Phase 4 - Icons & Sidebar "Quick Action"
Each icons were used to represent the each "Steps". I also also modified the sidebar UI and included a "Quick Action" button to test if it will make the process of learning something and immediately doing that action smoother.
Final Prototype
The "Quick Action" module was removed because it make the user experience better from "Help Page" to doing what the help page is trying to say.
