Project concept:
Like the plant’s adaptable growth, between the cracks and inleft over spaces, connecting the entities around it and occasionallystrengthening them, this project is adaptive to the fabric of the city andgrows in the space between the spaces, following the organized chaos of theroots, creating intriguing spaces between the line and surfaces of the project.
An enclosed but not shut space, surfaces that are exterior and interior at the same time,reflecting sunlight in direct and indirect direction to illuminate the interior,indirectly connected spaces where you can see a spot but can’t arrive at itdirectly, sometimes having to go up to go down or turn around to go left.
Project goals:
· Provide an alternativesolution for the non-existent street life in Dubai
· Connect the buildings atdifferent levels, creating opportunities for interaction of the space within,as well as creating other types of thresholds and transition spaces
· Create a roof-scape byjoining roofs of adjacent buildings (especially for this area where buildingsare not too high and residents use the roofs as living space)
· Create multipurposetemporary space that can be used by random people of the street or organizedactivities
