Irvine Welsh writes with wit, compassion and force. To articulate these attributes I decided to visually referenced the aesthetic of Dadaism. Using a random selection of invariably sized letter-forms, I created an author title which was able to act as a consistent visual element throughout the book-set. For each book I created a unique typographic illustration that reflected a key aspect of the book’s theme and/or plot.
