The Proud Miss Macbride is a famous novel for many reasons and its impact made it a perfect candidate for York College's archive preservation program. The student goal of the program was to create a hard casing for our selected classic novel so it would not deteriorate further while being exposed outside factors like light and friction against other novels. The design goal of the casing was to use our book binding knowledge to craft a case that fit the mood and color pallet of the selected novel through paper, color, and craft.
