Lynn Hildebrand's profile

Institute for Humane Education Hosted Most Good

Since 1991, Lynn Hildebrand has worked as a humane education teacher for the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley in California. Passionate about helping others and encouraging them to make a contribution in the world, Lynn Hildebrand supports the Institute for Humane Education (IHE).

Cofounded in 1996 by humane educators Rae Sikora and Zoe Weil, IHE seeks to train, educate, and inspire others to promote humane education worldwide. Since it began, IHE has trained thousands of educators who in turn have reached out to thousands more individuals.

Throughout the year, IHE offers workshops, many of which are presented by Weil, the IHE president. On April 20, 2016, she hosted the MOGO (Most Good) Workshop for high school students at the Humane Society of Broward County. Those who attended learned how to combine their passion with their talents as well as connect with others. They also learned how to communicate more effectively in order to get their messages across. In addition, the MOGO Workshop covered human rights, environmental protection, and animal protection issues. Each attendee also received a copy of Weil’s book Most Good, Least Harm: A Simple Principle for a Better World and Meaningful Life.
