Evermotion Challenge 2017 - „The Perfect Getaway”
The subject of the contest brought back childhood dreams about haven separated from everyday problems. A mysterious treehouse hangs somewhere high in clouds between dream and reality. It is inhabited by many strange characters who have exciting adventures. The cozy interior lit with warm light is contrasted with a cold, harsh outer world pours inside through cracks in the floor.My aim was to try to find an answer to the question what is "The Perfect Getaway" for me, through the composition of the scene. Is it a place, a reminiscence or maybe a state of mind, a distance measured in experiences which separate us from the point of origin, from the point of no return?
