Dreams are powerful.
They are repositories of our desire. They animate the entertainment industry and drive consumption. They can blind people to reality and provide cover for political horror. But they can also inspire us to imagine that things could be radically different than they are today.
This is the main point to understand our work, we do not want to think a "plumier” (Elisava’s school of design brief) as the way it used to be, the main reasons? not only the object is based in an old concept (pencils, eraser, paper) the word itself could appear in the oldest encyclopedia ever written. So we questioned ourselves how a plumier could look in the future, to get out of our personal frames and discover new ways to present such product.

So as we started this manifesto we decided to face the project with a critical thinking, that is, not taking things for granted, being skeptical, and always questioning what is given. All good design is critical.
How would education look in the following years, what if we used ipads for each step of our education?, could we replace the position of the teacher? making a visual experience to educate our children. We asked all this questions to ourselves on the concept process and we found out a good critical point in the way medicine progress.
Narcotics have been a powerful business since the industrial revolution, Heroin in his sweetest way is used to decrease pain,Cocaine was used by the pharmacy industry during the 50s
to treat mental issues. We often use medicines in our daily life, we also give them to our children, is it possible to educate our kids with pills?
We think that progress in technology will make this able in the next years, so we would like to propose this possible future now at days, with the aim to generate an opinion about it so we could choose by ourselves consciously if it happens.
