Amorphous Forms
Amorphous Forms is an audio/visual collaboration between Visual Designer Hector Santizo and Italian Music Composer & Sound Artist Nicola Giannini.
The visuals for Amorphous Forms were created using Volumes/VDB with using Cinema 4d, Octane Render, Houdini and After Effects do put and refine all of the elements together.
Below are screen shots of the production process.
Cinema 4D and Octane Render were used to create some of the volumes.
In the two slides below a piece of geometry was created as vdb and sent to Cinema 4D for lighting and rendering in Octane.
Utilizing the the video as a guide, Nicola created the sounds and designed the music score for Amorphous Forms.
With the score completed, the audio and the EXR files were imported into Adobe After Effects for compositing and color treatment.
