The floor plan of this home was inspired by what a young, single woman would want if she could design her own home. As a young woman I thought about what I would want in my perfect home for my life at this moment. Large open spaces perfect for having get togethers with friends, a special area for wine storage, a spacious bedroom and large bathroom all top the list. This home features an open concept on the first floor with a large living room flowing into a dining area and large modern kitchen. The first floor has a powder bath for guests and a convenient laundry room. One of the homes hidden features is a wine cellar built under the stair case. As you walk up the stairs, you enter into a loft- style area used as an office, guest area, or sitting area. The bedroom is spacious and broken up into two areas: the bed area and the vanity area. The extra space for the vanity is perfect for any young woman who enjoys getting ready and trying on clothes. The bedroom also boasts a large walk in closet perfect for anyone who has a love for fashion. Finally, the master bathroom is modern and spacious, featuring a large walk in shower with a freestanding bathtub. 

    The design of this home was also inspired by what a young, social, and trendy woman would want. The finishes in the house are modern with light bamboo wood floors, black stained doors and baseboards, and large black paned windows throughout. Both bathrooms feature retro black and white hexagon tile and modern fixtures. Going along with the black and white theme, the kitchen features dark gray cabinets and black subway tile for a fresh trendy feel. The color palette of mustard yellow, rose pink, and dark gray is very fresh and helps match the house to its owner, a stylish young woman. The overall feel of the home is boho modern. The simple clean finishes, pops of color with pillows, rugs, and accessories help to accomplish this feel.
