Type & Layout Project
For this project I was given a brief, to come up with a design concept for a a new magazine title. To produce a double page spread, to create a front cover, masthead (logo) design. The target audience was from 16 to 21 year olds, the magazine focuses on fashion and youth culture. For my double page spreads I interviewed a friend who is a young musician with some questions about what she does. I wanted to make the designs colourful and fun to attract my target audience.

This is my front cover design and I created textures traditionally to add to the design.
These are my thumbnail designs and a texture for double page spreads.
This is my grid based and experimental double page spread layout, I wanted to use the textures continuously throughout the magazine concept.
