MDB – Corporate Identity
In 2017 the design studio MDB (Maîtres des Bois) approached us to design their new logo and visual corporate identity. The Austrian design studio consists of two friends who like to work in a very experimental but precise way. They use various up-cycling techniques to combine different materials to create unique furniture for their customers.
In 2017 the design studio MDB (Maîtres des Bois) approached us to design their new logo and visual corporate identity. The Austrian design studio consists of two friends who like to work in a very experimental but precise way. They use various up-cycling techniques to combine different materials to create unique furniture for their customers.
It was important that their new logo reflects their brand values: sustainability and craftsmanship. With that in mind, we started off by experimenting with different hand-drawn monograms and then expanded on this idea by working with different tools and adding natural elements.
