We get in our rooms every day. Door, as the only passageway to room, is common to everybody. Before we pushing the door, however, the world in the room is unknown, and what we can see is the light streaming through the crack between the door and its frame, which may be lamplight or sunshine. The light is a clue about the situation in the room or what is happening in the room. The brightness of the light is different in different periods in a day. It seems like a symbol, a language, and an explanation of the room. Thus, I tried to simulate the light effect with light band, and combined light bands in different angles to form a unique visual sign of door.
