the wav desk fan is a quick concept I did for a prompt creative sessions called on designers to address.  That being to design a usb powered desk fan that pivots.  I decided I wanted to create an inexpensive fan that felt retro and fun.  I also wanted to emphasize the blades of the fan to signify its use, while more concealed concepts may read more as a speaker, smart home or other desk accessory from a distance.

I wanted to instill a sort of graphic, postmodern style to the product.  Referencing high contrast color schemes, vector graphics and vertical line studies to influence the language of the design.
