VR's control wagon
The control wagon of VR group is unique in Finland
The control wagon combines the qualities of both a control wagon and a passenger car. The control room is located on the other side of the wagon, and the passenger car has approximately 100 seats. With the help of the control wagon the train can be steered from both ends without the need to change the control wagon or locomotive itself, which relieves the traffic in especially crowded railway yard of Helsinki. The initialization of the new control wagon will improve preciseness in all train traffic across Finland.

New restaurant cars in two floors
The brand new train restaurant cars have a dining area for 50 people downstairs and on the area between the floors. Upstairs has 50 seats for passengers. The new cars also subscribe for functional improvements. The restaurant cars are an essential part of finnish train travelling, and with the new restaurant floor models the service can even be made better.
