How to Talk to Your Computer
I wanted to create an infographic that explored how different programming languages are able to send data and instructions to a computer. I began by researching, and learning the concept well enough to be able to explain it.
I broke the idea down into different levels of abstraction, from interpreted languages down to machine language. Each section has a heading that describes what you're talking to, a description, a couple of examples, a graphic, and a schematic.
I created the laptop and motherboard graphic, and the chip in Illustrator, and then used images to show the details within those.
