Fairy Knots;
1. Strands of hair that knot within themselves and often
add other adjoining hairs into the mix creating even bigger knots.
 These tiny knots (so tiny that "fairies" must have made them)
 are annoying and quite common for curlies and naturals.

My Hair

My hair is the only thing that I find truly beautiful about myself.

Maybe because it will grow whether I want it to or not.
Maybe because it is so unique,
I love how it turns different colors of redbrowncopper in the sun.

I love how it is Curly,
it does not apologize for being itself.
I like my hair when it looks like a
Lionsmanesheepsheadcottoncandycone.

In my ever-changing world I like my hair because
it does not change what it means to fit in no matter who or what is around.
It will stay curly in my room and out of my room.
It is content wherever it goes whether to party pinned up or to sleep in bedheadfreedom.
it is mine.

My Hair is the only thing I find truly beautiful about myself.
