In Lebanon, the concept of re-using is not applied on massproduction; it’s only done on request, therefore, the quantity is limited.
I decided to work on a Lebanese brand called RectangleJaune, a men’s clothing shop, and created an adequate package for it that canbe used on different occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s day, Fathers’day, etc). The package consists of a perfume and a shirt. The reason why Ichose a paint bucket is linked to the idea of repainting and, in an artisticallysymbolizing way, rebirth: when the paint starts peeling off in an old house youdon’t get ride of it, you apply a new layer of paint over the old one.
The slogan I came up with, “paint your life with snow”, isconnected to the idea of rebirth (like the phoenix rises again from his ashes,snakes change their skin, new year’s resolutions) and universally speaking, lifeis a cycle in itself. The slogan’s flexibility gives it an easy application onother occasions such as Valentine’s Day “paint your life with love”.

The Process:
1. I cut the can of paint bucket in half
2. Repainted it with a silver spray
3. Added a black rubber to the edge to give it aclean look
4. Glued a tube of Plexiglas to give it a window
5. Added a white vinyl sticker for the slogan, logoand snow flakes
6. Gave the perfume a base
Placed the shirt behind it
