Type Poster
Garamond
Along with this poster was a short research paper on the history of the typeface, Garamond.This is a poster depicting the typeface and something related to the typeface. I chose men's 1530s fashion. My knee jerk reaction was to relate Garamond to women's fashion, but I felt had been done before and I wanted to try something that wasn't my initial idea. I ended up illustrating a figure wearing detailed and sophisticated clothing and placed it on the poster.
