Concept behind TEAM mobile app
Living with Chronic Kidney Disease has its restrictions. There are many challenges that these people face on a daily basis on and off their treatment days. The TEAM (Train, Educate, Apply, Monitor) mobile application is designed to intuitively help patients improve their quality of life and serves as a reminder that they are not alone and have a team of staff to help them throughout their journey into hemodialysis. Within the mobile application, patients are able to train and educate themselves to practice a better Renal diet. With the help of Satellite Healthcare’s Renal Doctors , Social Workers, and Renal Dietitians, patients can seek answers to their questions and concerns regarding hemodialysis via the messages feature. There are times where there is a miscommunication between the patient and their transportation. The “My Transportation” feature allows patients to set up their location for pick up and drop off and also view the ETA of their transportation’s arrival time. Lastly, we are taught that there is no "I" in "Team". However, we are all accountable for each decision we make hence the subtle letter "I" within the logo.
