Process:
The Space Cadets are a Boston based music collective that writes, records, and performs together. They approached us to create a proprietary mark to adorn show posters, album covers, and merchandise. We chose this typeface because of the unique shape of the A that we thought subtly referenced a space ship, further enhanced by the stacked composition. They asked for an aeronautic element, which translated to the playful icon featuring an astronaut helmet.
