Consumer and Mood Boards

Consumer Boards/profiles and Mood Boards
Research and examples of professional Consumer boards.

Taking a look at different consumer boards i was able to get a grasp of the content that needed to be provided whilst researching and analysing different layouts.
The consumer boards are eye-catching and tell a story, with the use of different shapes and formats. This gave me a guideline when designing my own as i wanted it to be clear, consistent, colourful and creative.

Mood Board 1
The Mood boards show the mood of the new range, were it is channelling how 'light and liquid reflections' play a particular role in the shaping and movement of clothing looking at different textures and fabrics that showcase this. The images show how water can create its own colour through reflection, were every eye can see a different perspective. The mood of the range is allocated with a colour palette that will be used to create the range for 25+ young professionals for the company Zara

Mood Board 2

1. Fitness for purpose. Why does the chosen work represent the best outcome of the options you could have developed?
The chosen work represents the best outcome as mood boards and consumer baord examples were clearly researched before undergoing the task, they accurately display what the theme consists of and what the range will represent to ZARA. However i could have developed the mood boards by adding in fabric sample, and different prints.

2. How does your work compare with the professional work you researched?
The mood boards and consumer boards are quite similar to the areas i had researched, i kept it simple with no area of the page shown compared to ones i researched they were more messy and open spaced. But I would rather have clear and consistent images displayed so the company understands what they are dealing with in the design process.

3. What were the technical constraints and difficulties you encountered?
The research in this area was quite straight forward, as i had great knowledge in the use of photoshop.

4.How could you have improved the process or outcome?
If i was to improve the process, i would take into consideration the consumer board and consumer profile and combine them into one document, so its more understandable.
