Lynn Hildebrand's profile

The Central Asia Institute and the Al Fateh School

A humane education teacher with the Humane Society of San Bernardino Valley, Lynn Hildebrand gives instructional presentations for area children. Moreover, Lynn Hildebrand is a supporter of the Central Asia Institute, which helps to fund important educational initiatives such as the Al Fateh Girls’ School.

A multifaceted charitable organization, the Central Asia Institute offers scholarships, trains educators, and supports a range of public health and community projects. It also constructs new schools and assists existing schools with necessary repair work and new equipment.

One of the schools that the Central Asia Institute supports is the Al Fateh Girls’ School in Kabul, Afghanistan. The institution began accepting students after the ousting of Afghanistan’s Taliban-backed government, which had strictly forbidden the education of young females.

Al Fateh has grown into one of Kabul’s largest schools for girls, supporting approximately 7,000 students. Because they are attempting to make up for the education they missed, some Al Fateh students are 20 years of age or older.
