Summer Internship at Samaritans Mumbai (NGO)
Early 2017 saw my Facebook wall flooded with reports of Student Suicides and it was something I found extremely disconcerting. What was all the more disturbing was the fact that people continue to keep hush and shove these issues under the rug. This is one amongst a few initiatives I had taken up about the issue. The project is a series of illustrations that enlist the various reasons why people approach a suicide helpline. It was made into a calendar and kept at the office of Samaritans Mumbai. The main aim of the project was to spread awareness about the issue and get people talking about it. A link to my blog post about the same is attached at the bottom of this page.
