Os alunos do 2ºano do curso de Arquitetura do IST foram convidados, pela Junta de Freguesia da Estrela, a estudar e atuar na freguesia. Divididos por grupos de 4 pessoas, cada grupo ficou com 1 Bairro/Núcleo Pulsante da Freguesia da Estrela.
O meu grupo ficou com o Núcleo da Pampulha.
The students of Architecture, of Instituto Superior Técnico, were challenged by Junta de Freguesia da Estrela, in Lisbon, to study and improve this area. Divided by groups of 4 elements, each group had to study one of the neighborhoods of Estrela.
Mine got the Neighborhood of Pampulha.
Fase 1 . Análise
O crescimento da Pampulha está, desde sempre, relacionado com a sua proximidade ao Rio Tejo. A indústria evoluiu, a população aumentou, o que culminou num bairro de grande dimensão e com forte identidade. Ao longo dos séculos, a identidade manteve-se, porém o seu território foi sendo absorvido por novos núcleos pulsantes.
Concluimos, assim, que o Bairro da Pampulha já não existia, restando apenas uma rua, a Calçada da Pampulha.
Fase 1. Analysis
The growth of Pampulha has always been related to its proximity to the Tagus River. The industry has evolved, the population has increased, which has resulted in a large neighborhood with strong identity. Over the centuries, the identity has remained, but its territory has been absorbed by new neighborhoods.
Therefore, we conclude that the Pampulha Neighborhood no longer exist, only reamaning one street, Calçada da Pampulha.

A maquete conceptual pretende mostrar exatamente isso, a diminuição e fragilidade do território físico do bairro, mas o seu núcleo, a Calçada da Pampulha, sempre presente e resistente ao longo dos anos, sendo a única coisa da Pampulha que persistiu com o passar dos anos.
The conceptual model pretends to show just that, the decrease and fragility of the physical territory of the neighborhood, but its center, the Calçada da Pampulha, always present and resistant throughout the years, making it the only thing of the Pampulha that persisted with the passage of the years .
O video pretende mostrar a análise mas também as vivências deste local.
