This project was indeed an experience. It was the very first time that I used a desktop loom to understand the basics of weaving. The intent of this project was to learn simple weaves and be able to translate an inspiration through the language of weaves.
(Row 1- left to right - Plain weave, Rib weave, Basket weave on a straight draft; 
Row 2 - left to right - Twill 1/3, Twill 2/2, Honeycomb on a straight draft; 
Row 3 - left to right - Hopsack weave, Dog’s tooth on straight draft and compound twill on pointed draft; 
Row 4 - left to right - Simple diamond and Satin on a straight draft and Herring-bone on a  broken draft)
