Smart Home Device - Spindle
The Spindle is a wireless Smart Home Device which controls electronic devices in your home, along with a mobile application.
Based on the concept of a rotary engine's piston, the surfaces encompassing the Spindle has been sculpted to create "liquid like" curvatures. The design focus is to deliver a unique product design which highlights its form without compromising on its functionalities.

The Final Product
Concave Curvatures - L.E.D
Subtle chrome finishing is only used on the logo and around the rim of the dome. Underneath the concave surface, lies a hidden status L.E.D which will emit a faint and even glow.
Spindle + Power Cradle
The Spindle uses a power docking base for wall mounts. In-built magnets in the dock snaps the Spindle into place, and charges through 2 x spring loaded pins to ensure contact between the two.
