Touchable Oasis is a simple hand-made musical instrument. It's based on Arduino with a Music Shield. Eight touch sensors are assigned to seven differrent notes and one octave function. I used all papers to build its shell and decorated it with yellow and brown colored paper. And I tuned it into the Egyptian scale(C D Eb F# G Ab B) using the Arduino software. Finally I added an Origami blue flower on the top which may look like an oasis in the middle of the desert (and totally useless XD).

Every dot on the paper surface indicates a touch sensor under it.

This is how it looks from the inside. The green cube on the left is a mini speaker, connected to the arduino board and the music shield. Every touch sensor's connected to different channels of the Arduino board.
