Artificial Moment of the Cocoon – the surreal collection concept focuses on whimsical daily routine and the fragments emerging from the collective subconscious. During these first years, Ruta Matuleviciute discovered her own approach to art and the meaning of intuition in her research.

 The realistic and surreal painting motives are created and collaged with help of media and the spontaneous method based on research on psychoanalysis, comparative East-West studies, and inspirations from film and literature.
