2017 Soul Mix Covers

I missed making physical mixes (whether on cassette or CD), so I decided to make a zip file with some soul, motown, first-wave ska, rocksteady and skinhead reggae for my friends, approximately every season last year.
The idea stemmed from viewing the film "Baby Driver," with its eclectic soundtrack of soul songs. I decided to throw together some songs I had lying around on the ol' hard drive, and create some album covers evoking 1960's and 1970's black American culture.
The mixes range in mood from the mostly downbeat autumn mix (above), featuring slower, sadder songs, and the holiday mix (below), which would of course feature mostly dancier love songs.
