Presenting my concept for the 2020 Winter Classic.  I love the idea of non-traditional venues for these games.  Additionally, I love the Winter Classic as an event, but I am not a fan of the over saturation caused by the Stadium Series.  While I am a northern hockey elitist, I believe that it is important that we include all teams in these events and not just the same four or five every year.  

The 2020 Florida Winter Classic will give the NHL an opportunity to pay tribute to the 1990s.  The 90s marked the hockey movement to the Sun Belt.  Both uniforms are modern updates of their original uniforms.  I'm not a huge fan of faux backs so I tried to avoid that here.

I can also envision a great opportunity to mesh Disney and the NHL.  Whether its the characters in the stands or Mickey Mouse ski caps for the goalies there are a ton of great marketing opportunities for the league.
