These are some of the early design sketches for this project. I tend to lose myself quickly in detail and rendering so I quickly came up with a Version 1 that I wanted to model.

This is how far I got with modeling the Mini Laptop Desk V1 in Fusion 360 before I decided to fix some of its issues. I was considering the weight of the upper part might not be supported by this layout of the legs.

This is the Mini Laptop Desk V 1.1. In this version I changed the legs for better load bearing. I also built in a lifting opening mechanism for the laptop part, like seen in some lifting table tops.

After I was done with version 1.1 I decided to do some ideation and come up with a version with a different mechanism and different look. 

And this became the final design. I just couldn't resist the urge to go more into an Art Deco direction.
