During my stay at Browne Inc. in Philadelphia, I had the pleasure of doing design work for a few different companies and businesses. One campaign that I spent a majority of my time working with was Henderson Hyundai, a vehicle dealer located in Nevada. The team at Browne had developed the character of Buck Henderson who is based on the actual owner of Henderson Hyundai.
Right after joining this project I was given simple tasks such as creating coupon brochures and newsprint advertisements that would be featured in the Las Vegas local newspaper. Below is an example of one of the basic tri-fold coupon brochures I created.
Below are the newsprint advertisements I created for Henderson. The empty space at the middle-bottom of the page is where the weekly deals would be added post production.
The first ad is meant to thank the customers for making Henderson Hyundai the number one dealership in Nevada. We used an image of Buck with a foam finger to relay the message that Buck is celebrating this honor. The second ad was created shortly after Henderson started the all new Borrow Buck's Truck program was announced at Browne. A new wordmark and theme was created for this new program including the over-stuffed truck.
I was then tasked to help create television/web advertisements. After being briefed with a simple storyboard and given a script of dialog to look over, I began by gathering material that could be used for the ad. When I was given the okay to move forward with my selected images I started pre-production. Below are some screenshots of my process.
When everything was built and saved in proper formats the files were packaged and sent to one of Browne Inc.'s partners, for the post-production work. Below are two of the final television advertisements I had a hand in creating.
The first ad above follows the general theme of the many other Henderson Hyundai ads.
The second ad above is the first a promoting the Borrow Buck's Truck program at Henderson Hyundai.
One of the last projects I was given was the all new Henderson Website. Right off the bat, I started with a simple wireframe that was made in Adobe Illustrator. Below is the second mock up of the website after Photoshop elements where added. Sadly, my stay at Browne Inc. was nearly at an end when I was given this project. I would never get the chance to see the final website being launched.
