Cheese Tris 'Chis Machín'
Pepsico Snacks Venezuela asked Plop to open for the first time the Facebook fanpage for the longtime beloved snack Cheese Tris. The challenge: Millennial Tweens as the main target and make something engaging for this particular and picky audience.
The first thing we did to create relevant content for the opening of the new Facebook fan page was buy this snack bag to see what happened. As we ate almost the whole bag, three “Cheese Tris” remained at the end as the shame ones, the very ones no one dares to take and look like the hungrier person in the crowd. So we thought about what to do with those last three puffed cornmeal snacks.

And from those three little ones was born the first edible band in Venezuela. This punk-rock band named “Chis Machín” makes us dance with their revealing truthful lyrics and the most funny videos.

A total of nine videos were made with rotoscoping animation technique made by Alejandra Castellanos (@arehime), The project was launch almost a year of its completion for legal issues with the initial name we proposed (Cheese Trios), but it was a sharing success in the Facebook App built for the videos (click here) with almost 100k views in YouTube alone.
