One morning in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.

A series of photos taken on a winter morning in Jastrzębie-Zdrój, a mining town in the southern Poland. Back when it was a village the springs containing iodine and bromine brine solutions were discovered and led to the establishment of the health resort. The name of the city still reflects that, but since the 1960s five coal mines were established in the area and the village transformed into a city with the population of nearly 100 000. The rapid growth resulted in the erection of countless tower blocks.
