Saber Workshop
Saber Workshop is a concept toy aimed at a 7+ age group and sits within the Star Wars License.
The toy is made up of a core section over which cosmetic lightsaber parts can be built or added. The core itself is a flashlight, with the option for different colour LED's for a more immersive experience. The outer pieces come in 4 sections; the Emitter, Connector, Body and Pommel. Each part has a unique code on the back and once the toy has been fully constructed, the lightsaber can be scanned using a mobile app to assign stats to the virtual lightsaber. The mobile app will let the user see what parts they have found, the stats of each one and will let them battle their friends in a Rock-Paper-Scissors style game. By using blind boxes, new parts can be made for the toy, encouraging collecting and trying to get the best lightsaber stats possible.
