Palate Show at SCION Artspace

This is artwork I did for a gallery show at the SCION Artspace in Culver City. The theme was food. I created over 130 images of different types of food on vintage cookbook paper. On each image random words from the recipe below show through creating a short nonsense narrative. Food is for survival and comfort and the food chosen represents many of the most comforting foods, cakes, hot dogs, ice cream, cookies and fast food are featured.
