HOW TO CREATE: HEADSHOT PROJECT 1
Introduction
For this project, we had to create a headshot as an introduction to digital media using our computer and the software programs.
Materials
- iMac
-Photobooth
-Adobe Photoshop CC
-Adobe Illustrator CC
Creative Process
There was no creative process for this project. We were assigned to take a picture of our faces for this project.
Workflow
Step 1: Go to Photo Booth then take a photo using the camera on the iMac.
Step 2: Go to Adobe Photoshop CC. Open up your headshot and then crop(ratio 1:1) it
Step 3: Then, open a new file in ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR with blank page(8.5 "x11 " in). Put your cropped photo.
Step 4: Add name, school number, email, phone number/ any necessary information required for the project.
Final Product
Conclusion
In conclusion, I learned how to crop a photo in photoshop and use illustrator for the first time . If you followed the instructions, your headshot should look like the one above, this project is really really easy, you shouldn't be confused at all. You should be able to create a lot of headshots.
