PERSONAL LOGO: REBRANDING
I've been meaning to revise my logo, rebrand, for awhile. A year ago, or more, I began to try and form a specific signature I could use on all my artwork that stood out as ME and worked out better as a form of watermark. After working on the way I wrote it for awhile, it became habitual enough that I tweaked it into something more professional looking and fitting towards maybe using as a logo. It went from a signature, to including the year I drew the picture, to including the brand title, and finally I put in the dedication in vectoring it so I could have it for proper use.
The flower was the the part I was least sure about, since when I use my SIGNATURE, its a very simple flower with no real details. But in vector form I needed to put more effort into it. While sketching out how the flower should probably look in large format, I thought a star fit well in the middle. Since stars have been something I've become very attached too in the last several years, I decided to include it as a subtle shape. You'd really only see it zoomed in or at large size so it's not really imporant at all.

The important thing was that the signature itself was clean and something I could consistently use.
I've been using the same logo and business cards since I graduated from my art tech school in 2011 but I'm starting to FINALLY run low on them. It's taken a long time to do so. Now that I've revised my logo, I'll be able to get new cards. But I intend to still use the same shape as I did before, with just new colours and information.
