A jewel in the Old City of Xanthi
The 1905 Boutique Hotel is operating in a neoclassical building, which has been classified as "historical monument and a work of art" by the Ministry of Culture of Greece.
The Identity and a Packaging that will be small and beautiful for the customers to take away with them to remember their stay in the Boutique Hotel 1905.
VISUALIZING THE CONCEPT
My visual inspiration came from the roof paintings and the building itself that refers to the age of the “Belle Epoque " era, which inspired me to use a clean, geometric and orderly style. I believe that this direction represents the hotel's unique characteristics and its guests. I also want to convey the message that staying at Boutique Hotel 1905 brings the comfort of home and luxury at the same time, wanted to visualize this message through the brand identity and Packaging.
The history of the building starts at the beginning of last century, during the last phase of Ottomans era where Xanthi noted great economic rising of the tobacco trade, which had a result of construction activity.
The construction of the building was completed in 1905 in order to house the Ottoman deputy Hilmi til 1919.
Situated on top of the old town, the 1905 Boutique Hotel, is not a typical hotel. Everything refers to the age of the belle époque era in Xanthi of the 20th century, from the wall and roof paintings and the interior decoration of the building,
up to the narrow cobblestone streets. It is a six suites, with neoclassical mainly floral and geometric patterns with alternating shades from room to room and ceilings.
