Final Control System
The greatest contribution that Design Thinking can generate for typically technical, engineering projects is to "Break the Paradigms" of structured models and find a more significant and flexible shared purpose between technical archetypes "Adaption-Innovation", Practical implementation, and Market Demand, based on the product spectations.
The challenge was to maintain the most important advantages of each tested controller, the MITSUBISHI FX3 PLC and the ARDUINO MEGA Microcontroller, which were used in previous development stages to control Convelab, however, each of the controllers presented restrictions to comply with the desired final performance characteristics. Finally, we were able to successfully design and test a high performance SMART DRIVE conveyor system controller.
