Social Campaign- 'Nature is closer than you think'

Social Advertising Campaign - logo and elements designs

'Nature is closer than you think’-is a social breastfeeding campaign. The aim of the advertising campaign is to change societies perception of breastfeeding and support new mothers.

The purpose is to create a campaign to change people’s mindset and to draw attention to the daily problems and open sores of society, and to encourage them to think about the ‘simple’ things in life.

The advertising campaign includes: photography, editorial design, (leaflet, brochure, posters) and logo design.
Idea to create logo came from breast and nipple look. Drops represents milk leak from the breast, nipples. To make sound and to attract audience I chose word “ART” instead only “BREASTFEEDING”. My message is for public, that breastfeeding isn’t only a food for infant and child it is huge education, philosophy, from this begins new life. To finish my design had the idea to create an ink stamp. As the result it gave the design a personal finish and I find that when using it, a rustic charm shines through.
Idea to create woodcuts (complimentary gifts) came from my previously done work. I think I will never stop experimenting with this technique. Laser cutting & Engraving technique is my favourite. The idea I one of my prefer styles, however if you look at other charities including helping people with cancer, a small gift is common to give to members. We see that some charities give out ribbons, where as others give out clothing or merchandise. I thought this rustic memento would be a fitting gift to give to breastfeeding mothers. The original triangle design, on a hand key ring, representing one of the four elements of nature seemed like a very fitting present.
About this project to be continued in the next post...

Thank You for attention!!!
